About Hunter’s

Hunter’s Coffeeshop is a well-known name among cannabis users, and for good reason. We’ve been known for our friendliness and great atmosphere for over 35 years. We’ve even grown into a brand, selling all sorts of cool products with our logo. Our logo? You can spot it with the dog making the shaka sign. You’ve probably seen it in Amsterdam.

The Origin of Hunter’s

Why do we have a dog as our logo? For that, we need to go back to 1985, the year Hunter’s was founded. One day, a dog named Hunter marked his territory on Warmoesstraat. The owner thought it was a great location too, and a few months later, the first Hunter’s Coffeeshop was born.

Gaining Ground

Fast forward over 35 years, and we now have six locations: one in Haarlem, one in Zandvoort, and four in Amsterdam. Here’s a quick overview.

We’re proud of our shop in Haarlem, not just because of the beautiful location at Schoterweg 66 but also because of the great visitors. Our spot in the heart of Amsterdam is one of the most well-known. Just 100 meters from Rembrandtplein, you’ll find us at Utrechtsestraat 14. Plus, we’ve opened our Hunter’s Bar right next door.
